Fleet Velar (Pty) Ltd (“Fleet Velar”) provides a digital technology platform that connects users with independent third-party drivers for:

• Passenger transportation
• Parcel delivery (courier services)

Fleet Velar does not provide transportation or courier services directly and is not a transport carrier. All services are performed by independent contractors.

What we offer:

• SOS emergency button
• Live trip tracking
• Trip sharing with emergency contact
• Driver and rider rating system
• Zero tolerance for harassment

2. Independent Contractors

All drivers on the Fleet Velar platform operate as independent contractors. They are not employees, partners, or agents of Fleet Velar.

Drivers are solely responsible for:

• Holding valid driver’s licenses
• Operating legally registered and roadworthy vehicles
• Maintaining required transport permits
• Complying with applicable laws.

Fleet Velar is not liable for driver negligence, misconduct, or unlawful actions.

3. Payments

Fleet Velar accepts:

• In-app electronic payments
• Cash payments (where enabled)

Users are responsible for full payment of fares and delivery fees.

Failure to pay may result in:

• Account suspension
• Legal recovery action

4. User Conduct

Users agree not to:

• Harass or threaten drivers
• Damage vehicles
• Use the platform for unlawful purposes
• Transport illegal goods

Fleet Velar reserves the right to suspend accounts for misconduct.

While Fleet Velar implements safety screening measures and in-app safety tools, Fleet Velar does not guarantee the safety of users and shall not be held liable for criminal acts committed by third parties

5. Limitation of Liability

Fleet Velar shall not be liable for:

• Traffic delays
• Service interruptions
• Loss or damage to personal belongings during rides
• Loss or damage to parcels during delivery
• Any indirect or consequential damages

Use of the platform is at your own risk.
